Privacy policy

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to ship your order, support your account, and make the store work. We don't sell your data. We use trusted third parties (Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, analytics providers) — all standard for an online store.

What we collect

  • Order info: name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone (if provided), payment method (handled by Shopify Payments / Stripe / PayPal — we never see full card numbers).
  • Account info: if you create an account, we store your email, order history, and any saved addresses.
  • Browsing data: cookies and analytics pixels (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Pinterest Tag) help us understand which products people look at and which ads work. You can opt out via your browser settings.
  • Communications: if you email us or sign up for our list, we keep that record so we can reply and so you can unsubscribe.

How we use it

  • Fulfill your order (ship it, track it, refund it if needed).
  • Reply to your questions.
  • Send order updates and (if you opted in) marketing emails.
  • Improve the store — figure out which product pages confuse people, which ads bring real buyers.
  • Prevent fraud and protect the store.

Who we share with

Strictly the people who help us deliver:

  • Shopify — runs the store and handles payments
  • Shipping carriers — UPS / FedEx / USPS / DHL — need your address to deliver the package
  • Email providers — to send transactional emails and (if you opted in) marketing
  • Analytics providers — Google, Meta, Pinterest — to measure ad performance
  • Legal authorities — only if compelled by valid legal process

We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

  • Access: email support@dawdix.com and we'll send you a copy of the data we have on you.
  • Delete: same — ask and we delete it (we keep minimum order records for tax and warranty law).
  • Unsubscribe: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Click it once, you're out.
  • California / EU / UK residents: you have additional rights under CCPA / GDPR — email us and we'll honor them.

Cookies

We use cookies for essential store function (cart, login), analytics, and ads. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies — the store will still work for browsing, but cart and login won't persist between sessions.

Children

Dawdix is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from kids. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, email support@dawdix.com and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a revision date. Material changes get an email notice if you have an account or are on our list.
